What I liked about the book:

  • The setting of the story in itself is quite refreshing and the USP of the book. Placing a love story in reality tv made this one quite fun
  • Both the lead characters are quite charming and likeable, especially Aditya
  • I really liked how we come to learn about the behind the scenes and other titbits about reality shows like Swayam Vars, et al
  • As a reader and also a viewer of such shows, you feel bad about the contestants and think they were cheated on. But the author has addressed this and justified it quite well.
  • How Aditya is made part of the show is another well thought-out ploy by the author and needs to be appreciated.
  • I also liked how during the show, Aditya and Shweta spend time getting to genuinely know each other. It’s a thoughtful decision by the author to show them discussing things beyond their work and the show itself.

What I did not like about the book:
